What does autosuggestion and faith have to do with mlm?
To begin to answer this question we need to look at a survival program we have imprinted in our subconscious mind. This survival program is all about being safe and secure.
Recently I approached a client who asked me the question ” how will mlm or network marketing provide me with security when I retire?’
I began my speel about residual income and how once you build this up the money continues to be paid to you. It was no use! She had already made up her mind that anything that was not a nine to five work hard until you retire job was in fact precarious and not safe.
This lady’s subconscious programming is all about having stability in her life and taking the safe and secure road to her dreams.
Tom Big Al Schreiter clearly states in needs vs wants to take the volunteers instead and leave these people alone.
You know it makes so much sense.
You see my dear client whom is a good friend of mine would make a network marketer. She cares about people and is a team player.
However her autosuggestion and faith in a traditional working environment would conflict with her ability to be successful in mlm.
I could teach her new skills.
I could help her to change her limiting beliefs.
I could help her become part of a vibrant mastermind group that would help her change her autosuggestion.
I could help her become successful.
I could………………………………………….
It would take a lot of hard work and you know what if she is not volunteering or wanting to change then it will be an up hill battle. So I will leave her alone until she show interest and wants to join.
Why?
Because it will strain our relationship if her limiting beliefs help her to fail?
Then who is she going to blame?
Me of course and I will lose a close friend.
The above scenario applies to all of your family and friends. My advice is to leave them alone.
Guess what will happen when they see our success?
They will start chasing you.
So continue to work on yourself and with the volunteers. You will still have to get around their old autosuggestion and faith in a secure traditional system.
BUt the cool part is they have volunteered and the are ready to listen to your new message.
