Believe in yourself | Success
You believe in your career and in yourself or you wouldn’t be where you are now.
But do you have that internal negative voice sometimes?
You know the one that undermines your positive beliefs, tries to tell that you won’t make it to the next level up, that you will never achieve a healthy work/life balance, or that you’re no good at a particular area of your work?
If you feed your subconscious negative things about yourself and your career, it will look for ways to prove that you are right.
And so your beliefs will be constantly reinforced and may ultimately actually become fact. Let’s see what we can do about that.
Write down all of your negative thinking. Acknowledge that you have these thoughts but don’t focus on them. Make another list that runs parallel to this to help your subconscious mind focus on the things you want to be thinking about.
Keep your lists where you can access them easily and often, particularly if you are having a ‘wobble moment’.
This is really powerful stuff and can cause a mental shift that will take you shooting forwards.
Please note I am not saying that empowering beliefs alone will make things happen.
But if you accept and believe all the positive things about your current and future career and about yourself, you will actually go out there and take the action necessary to make it happen! What’s the alternative?

Not only does this song continually reinforce believing in yourself, but it shows how to visualize what you want.
The song starts out with a common hopeless state many people find themselves in. “I used to think that I could not go on. And life was nothing but an awful song.” This is where a person makes a potentially life altering decision. He can chose to be depressed and negative, or he can chose to shed those chains and focus on the positive aspect of life.
Talking about believing you can fly and spreading your wings means taking off with success. I think of the mental image of a Bald Eagle which commonly represents “soaring to success”. Achieving success means you have run through the open door of opportunity. The only way saying self-affirmations works is by repeating aloud to yourself at least 100 times a day, thus thinking about it “night and day”.
Now commit to doing something over the next couple of weeks.
Create two lists of empowering beliefs . The first list will be a bout your career and the second list about yourself.
Every day add at least one new Empowering Belief to your two lists. Your goal is to end up in 2 weeks time with at least 10 Empowering Beliefs about your career and at least 10 Empowering Beliefs about yourself.
