Change or persist?

Change or persist?

Change or persist at something is a very tricky question?

Change or persist?

Change or persist?

The above quote says it all. It takes courage to let go of what you already have not knowing what you will get yourself into. Starting something new and fresh can bring opportunity and massive growth or it could be worse off than what you had. Here is the paradox taking that leap of faith can be  a risk or a reward.

It can be a calculated risk

This is probably the best risk to take for even though you are venturing into the unknown you have weighed up all of the possible scenarios . Of course there are no guarantees but at least you are venturing forth with all of the information at your disposal and the best of intentions. The important issue here is that once you have decided to change you do so not having any regrets. It must be a clean cut and not one that dabbles in both camps. Your focus must be geared towards the decision you have made. Otherwise you will be in no man’s land and that will be worse than  deciding to stay put or venture out into something new.

To change or persist then?

I am reminded of another quote as I write the above sentence. If you do what you have always done you will get what you have always had.

Change or persist?

So my advice to you is determine if you are happy with what you have always got then there is not need to change. If however you are not where you think that you should be at or you are not currently happy with what you have then it is time to change.

Three reasons why change is good is a great article to read if you are in the process of making a change in your life.

Now it is over to you. What are your thoughts on change or persist?
