Changing your thinking process is this possible?
How can anybody even begin to ponder about changing your thinking process?
It seems that our dominant thoughts really shape who we are and who we can become.
Napoleon Hill’s book ‘think and grow rich’ grapples with the ability of man to control his thinking. He maintains that to be the captain of your soul you need to control your thoughts. Napoleon Hill then gives many examples of people that have learnt to do this and have achieved greatness in their lives.
Why is it important to be aware of you how can begin changing your thinking process ?
Well if you subscribe to the theory that your dominant thoughts can be manifested into reality! Then what you are thinking about becomes critical in everything you do.
I recall many times when I have had a clear mental picture of achieving something and I have actually done it. One example is purchasing my beach house near the sea and opposite a lake. I saw the spot in my mind, prior to hunting for a property to buy.
It somehow just magically appeared very much like the picture in my mind.
This is where it gets tricky, because it can also be negative. If you have negative thoughts and focus on those thoughts then that negative picture will also manifest itself.
One example for me is the break down of my marriage. I could clearly see what my life would be like after separation. Did my negative thoughts or the situation contribute to the eventual separation?
As I go deeper into this journey I realise that you have control of changing your thinking process. Wow, no longer do you need to be reactive and just accept things.
You can commence changing your thinking process and be in control of what happens next.
This is a simple sentence yet the implications are huge.
So how do you go about changing your thinking process?
Well it all begins with what we visualise in our minds. If we slow down the chatter and confusion of modern day chaos.
We can actually begin to visualise more efficiently. It’s a skill as well as a gift. So we can learn to become better at it.
So how do we de clutter our minds.
- begin a positive self talk routine
- feed it to yourself at least 400 times with power and passion
- block out negative influences of all sorts
- by changing your think process to your perfect day when negative things are happening around you
- stay in the positive emotions
- read good quality uplifting books
- mastermind with like minded individuals
- crank up your burning desire to succeed.
- see yourself as a winner
- see yourself as already in possession of your burning desire.
