The imagination is one of our most powerful ally along with understanding our sixth sense.
So much so that even a great mind like Albert Einstein, a man we equate with a wealth of knowledge was moved to quote
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
Knowledge of course is also important!
The problem arises when you cram your head full of knowledge and stifle your imagination.
This leaves no room to dream!
Once again a huge issue for Greens. As I stated in my previous lesson,
Green personalities love knowledge and information to the extent that they cant get enough of it.
As they absorb all of this information they put their imagination on hold and it goes to sleep.
To the extent that it needs to be awakened again.
Fortunately for greens and everybody else , awakening your imagination can be achieved.
The other important factor at play here is that your imagination can become stronger as you
practice using it.
So much so that one of the richest men in the world Henry Ford made a practice of not
storing too much information in his head. He was quoted as saying ‘ why do I need to fill my head
with the knowledge I can readily obtain from my mastermind group’.
I believe Henry Ford was deliberately choosing to leave room for his imagination to flourish.
Once he had the ideas then the expertise and the resources to create what he had imagined were readily available.
It stands to reason that if you cannot imagine something then it cannot be created.
So contrary to popular belief , a person full of information is not always somebody to be revered and idolized.
To a certain extent they deserve the accolades, however sometimes
we do an injustice to the people who use their imagination to see things differently.
It is time to place some kudos to the amazing dreamers of our world.
Often people with amazing imagination get told to get real and to stop dreaming about things.
They are the ones who are ridiculed and sometimes banished for their strange non conforming thoughts.
Yet when it’s all said and done everybody wants to be their friends when they achieve amazing
things. All because they had the courage and faith to follow their imagination and see the idea through
until they succeeded.
Mentoring For Free is a classic example of what I am writing about here. If it were not for the
imagination, the dream if you like, to create a training and mentoring system everybody could use
for free then we all would not be here today.
Michael , Linda and the teams’ imagination to make a difference for professional network
marketers, created this amazing system. It was designed to educate and build up leaders in the industry.
All the nay sayers at the time must be staring at the success of the system with their jaws dropping.
Imagination often results in people thinking differently and this creates the amazing world we live in.
I just wonder at how many people give up on using their imagination because they are scared to think
differently?
