Imagination| think and grow rich
Today our guest author is Donna Catron she posted a lesson about how the imagination is responsible for all the amazing things that have been created.
Donna writes:
“Chapter 6 Imagination
imagination | think and grow rich
Imagination is our connection with the Universe. It allows us to see things as they MIGHT be, rather than how they currently are. Most of the time, our imagination is under utilized. One reason, I believe, is that people with imagination are often labeled as “daydreamers” and thus disapproval. Our schools discourage students who use imagination. But, when we look at our daily lives everything we have or use was once someone’s imagination. Thank goodness for Thomas Edison’s imagination!! Where would we be without electricity? Or a McDonald’s on every corner? Can you imagine a bunch of stuffy bankers telling Sam Walton they would not loan him money for his “Wal-Mart”? And can you imagine what that board meeting was like a few years later when they realized Sam had just said “I don’t need you, I’ll just do it myself”?
But, just having imagination is not enough. There needs to be a plan and a call to action to implement that plan. Visions need to be in the present tense, not someday in the future.
Letting my imagination go freely to explore any and all areas, I must determine where I want it to lead me and what I will do when I get there. I will have a plan to achieve my goal, whatever that goal may be. Imagination is not only about my network marketing business, but also my life. Imagination will tell me how to take all the fabric I have stashed in this closet and turn it into a beautiful quilt. Imagination will help me decide what color my shutters on my house should be. Imagination is the beginning of everything! And sometimes it’s the hardest thing to use.
