Is my success your responsibility nearly made me give up professional network marketing.
Is my success your responsibility makes professional network marketers scared to answer how successful they are?
Why should this question scare me? I know my business is growing and we have incredible successful leaders at all levels.
Yet when somebody asks me is my success your responsibility I have to really think and ponder. Ok ,I believe in you and I’ll be there for you.
I will help you and guide you.
I will point you in the right direction to get your questions answered.
However it would be remiss of me to do the work for you. It will not serve you and it will not serve me.
I can only show you and guide you what to do. I cant make you do it!
Is my success your responsibility will definitely have to be answered in the words of my wise mentor Robert Klinga ” Loddy you will not be successful or fail because of me.”
Is my success your responsibility does not have a bearing when there is a system in place for everybody to follow. You become a professional pointer. This means that you show your team members where to find the information. Even if you know the answer to their question.
The analogy I can draw here from my teaching days is that when a child asks for the correct spelling of a word, a good teacher will always point them to the dictionary.
Why did the teacher not just tell the child? Well firstly using the dictionary is a skill in itself . Secondly before you can use the dictionary the child has to draw on many spelling strategies to be able to look up the word correctly. If we stop this process by telling the child. We lose an opportunity to give them confidence at eventually become good at using spelling strategies.
This is the same with professional network marketing. Once you have all the resources and the system in place for success. Then it’s up to each member to learn the system and teach others how to do the same.
Dont ever take on the responsibility of mother henning somebody to success. Who will they blame if they fail. This is almost as fatal as forcing your family and friends to join your opportunity. Who will they blame if they fail.?
