My primary objective with my blog is to generate leads. However I am a lot more comfortable writing about personal development. This is where the ideas and the original content come easily for me.
So I have been writing away merrily and getting some exposure through the social media. My search engine traffic is very dismal at %3. I am getting fair traffic yet the whole community that I am building is very reluctant to interact.
I have seen my alexa ranking move up and down depending on the frequency I write a post. Two a day keep me going in the right direction and three a day keep me motoring in the right direction. Of course this is very hard to sustain. When I have days when I don’t post or only do one a day the alexa ranking starts to climb. That is move in the wrong direction. I know I cannot sustain this effort.
Back to the drawing board
So yes it’s back to the drawing board. This blog was set up to generate leads. Personal development is a an ongoing component of this. So somehow I have to try and merge the two so I am feeling comfortable about writing on the topic and also reaching my objective of generating quality leads.
My learning curve
So as well as writing my posts I have to learn about key word research and back links. I believe we have
