Success and desire are two very important ingredients to living a happy life.
Welcome, I am 55 years old and I have spent most of my working life teaching Primary School children. I have two children of my own, a son Sebastian who is 15 and a daughter Sophie who is 10. They take up a great deal of my time at the moment. I love spending quality time with them and we really enjoy life.
I love taking holidays with my children, each school holidays we choose a new destination and spend two weeks immersed at the new location.
I used to get up every morning and battle the traffic on my way to work. My life was governed by a bell that went off every two hours. Sometimes I can still hear that bell ringing.
I am now fortunate enough to be exploring personal development . 
This has led me to discover my real passion. At some stage throughout my education I remember
that I used to love to write tall stories. To my amazement I have rediscovered this love of writing.
I now love to blog and tell stories about growing into a successful person. It is a no brainer the
secret to life is to find your passion and follow it with a burning desire.
So I present myself with a yearning to grow as a person both in life and business. It is my desire
to take you on this journey with me as I trace my path through my posts.
We all have challenges and hit stumbling blocks in life. How we deal with these shapes and defines
our lives. The only thing we can control is the way we respond to each situation.
I have picked myself up after a failed and dysfunctional marriage to work at making a success of my life.
My strong desire to do this is to provide my children with the opportunities that they richly deserve.
This is my strong why to keep going no matter what. Quitting is not in my vocabulary.
As I take this journey I feel blessed to be discovering the real me. It’s a process of digging deep and undoing the programming that somehow imprisons us.
It starts off with learning to become aware of your thoughts and how they impact on your life. Once this realization is made the real work begins. It is time to take control of these thoughts.
When you control your thoughts you become the captain of your soul and you learn to own your life. My knowledge and understanding of this process comes from an ongoing personal development course based on Napoleon Hill’s “think and grow rich” and the works of Stephen Covey.
It’s about finding the greatness within yourself and to become the person you were meant to be.
” God don’t make no junk” is a great quote that my mentor Michael Dlouhy uses.
So for each and everyone of us there is a greatness living inside us. It is our job to find it.
